Lots of users use this functionality to create a single quotation document but with multiple quotations prices, for example; you could create a quote, for landscaping a garden with three option for a customer to choose. In this How to guide, we will cover adding Multiple priced items to an invoice, and we will make some changes to the pair of them.

  • Click on Projects and create a new project by pressing the 'New Project button.
  • Choose an existing customer or create a new one.
  • Once in the Project Timeline, you can re-name the title to keep it relevant.
  • As you create your quotes and invoices, the financial summary will give you an easy log to refer to.  Accepted quotes and paid invoices will also be shown here.

Using PoweredNow projects enables you to keep all of your information in one place, making it simple to keep rack of everything.

Working within Project enables you to add other things to your quotes and invoices.  You will see a drop down menu that you can choose:

  • Add Note
  • Add Photo
  • Pricing (Manage Priced Items)
  • Create a Reminder
  • Create an Appointment
  • Send an email or text message to a customer.

You can easily edit a Priced Item within Projects, which saves you time as you don't need to keep creating new ones. Basically, you only have to create a Priced Item once, which you can edit and create quotes and invoices, to send out to your customer within the project.

You can enter your own Project Title at the top to make searching and logging your information easier.

Changing your priced items.

  • you can add discounts or mark up.
  • add a discount or markup by total amount or by a %.
  • Alter the VAT rate, or add zero VAT.

Now you have created two Priced items you can then start to create your Quote, Job Sheet or Invoice.

You can see at the bottom of the page the invoice which was created using two Priced Items. As you can see each one contains different VAT amounts and the top one has a discount.

Powered Now is very clever and will even show the total values of the two priced items added together.
